Why MovieGrid?

The NYTs Games App has never been for me. But one day in 2023, I was shown MovieGrid and never looked back.

I started a Letterboxd account in 2020 while listening to Polly Platt: The Invisible Woman, a series from You Must Remember This. Through Polly Platt I dove into the filmographies of James L. Brooks and Peter Bogdanovich in a serious way. This led me to become a consistent Blank Check and ActionBoyz listener and explore the filmographies of more and more directors. Since then it’s become part of my daily life.

Who am I?

I’m Emma Klauber, a New Yorker currently cosplaying as a Londoner. I have a lot of strong movie opinions and will watch almost any movie for at least 20 minutes if it’s useful to my MovieGrid game.
